Order Logan Labs tests

Order discounted Logan Labs soil, saturated paste or irrigation water tests using the form below. Optionally you may also order Erica’s Analysis and Recommendations of the test reports using this form. Here’s how it works:

• Fill out the order form completely and add it to the cart.
• Once you have checked out, a completed Logan Labs Submission Form will be emailed to you.
• Follow the instructions in the email to prepare and ship your samples to Logan Labs.
• Allow at least 6 days after your samples are received at the lab for your test report(s) to be prepared. Logan Labs shuts down for major holidays and the week between Christmas and New Years.
• Your test report(s) will be emailed to you from Alice at Grow Abundant Gardens. Note we do not email the test reports if you have also ordered Erica’s recommendations.
• If you have ordered Erica’s analysis and recommendations, these will be ready 1 – 5 working days after we receive the Logan Labs report(s).

Which soil test shall I get?

• Check to see if your soil is fizzy (see how to do a fizz test). If the fizz test is positive, get the AA 8.2 soil test.
• If your soil pH is over 7.0 and your soil is not fizzy, get the AA 7.0 test.
• Otherwise get the standard Mehlich 3 test.
• You will have the option to get a saturated paste test in addition to the soil test. This is highly recommended for anyone growing inside or in a hoop house or in places where evapotranspiration can exceed the moisture content of soil in the root zone, allowing salts to build up.
